Mobile App 

  • Update 
  • August typically highest month for mobile 
    • Over 9000 unique visitors 
    • Sessions per user were a higher number as well.
    • Outlook has moved to a relative space as Gmail used to.
    • Views by persona
      • Student persona for August went over 250k views.
        • This means adoption rate is good.
        • Double what we had last August.

NextGen Website 

  • Updated Migration Status – Chris Sawyer 
  • We are doing well with reducing the footprint.
    • Chris Waters indicated that we may not have all websites migrated by the end of the calendar year.
      • Large amounts of content
      • Looking into increasing resources through contractors and students
      • Chris Waters will work with the VCs to revise the timeline.
    • Bryan School went live earlier this week.
    • College of Arts and Sciences launched earlier.
    • Craig Biles indicated that the training session signups have gone down. This might be an opportunity for us to advertise.
  • Content Audit – Kimberly Osborne
    • Reminded folks of the Content Audit.
    • The procedure currently states that audits will initiate in spring and audits be completed by June.
      • We are going to develop a rolling schedule depending on when the sites roll out.
      • It is important that we regularly audit our content.

Google Analytics 

  • Travis Hauer and Matthew Johnston provided an “Updates on Analytics Reporting at UNCG” presentation. 
  • Matthew and Travis meet on a weekly basis to ensure reports and analytics in line with what the University needs are. 
  • Questions
    • David Starnes asked how to add the container to their website.
      • Matthew indicated that it was included in the new theme.
    • What if the site is not in the environment but is in the UNCG domain.
      • Chris Waters indicated that they would want to review these.
      • Preference is that we plan migration of site, so the site has the container built in.
