The Academic Unit Liaisons (A-Team) are charged with identifying, prioritizing, tracking, and resolving data issues and with minimizing redundancy and errors in curriculum and program related data.

The Academic Unit Liaisons, also known as the A-Team, is a standing sub-committee of the Data Governance committees. The A-Team is charged with identifying, prioritizing, tracking, and resolving data issues and with minimizing redundancy and errors in curriculum and program related data. In collaboration with the Data Governance committees, the A-Team will work to establish clear accountability for institutional data elements and to enforce data quality and adherence to standards.

Members actively engage with the Institutional Research & Enterprise Data Management team, Enrollment Management offices, and other areas of campus in surfacing and resolving curriculum and program related issues in institutional data. They are charged with focusing particular attention to the UNC System Office mandated Data Mart snapshots.

Members are authorized to develop solutions and make decisions in consultation with the appropriate Data Governance body, Unit or Department leadership, and appropriate technical support staff and which are in line with institutional data management policies, standards, guidelines, and operating procedures.
